Our Story
Lazy J Works was born out of a love for beautiful wood and the satisfaction of making something with your hands that people enjoy, admire but still can use everyday. Every piece we craft starts with premium hardwood — walnut, oak, maple, and more — selected for its grain and character.
The name says it all: our signature Lazy J brand mark is a J rotated on its side, resting easy — just like our approach to craftsmanship. Unhurried. Intentional. Made right.

01 — Cutting Boards
End-grain and face-grain boards built to handle a lifetime of kitchen work. Deep juice grooves, hand-oiled finish, and mixed hardwood that make every board a work of art.

02 — Pizza Cutters
Stainless steel blades paired with gorgeous handcrafted hardwood handles. A kitchen showpiece that actually works — and the pizza peel looks great hanging on the wall when it's not in use.

Sets of four solid hardwood coasters with a food-safe oil finish. Available in walnut & oak stripe or solid walnut — and optionally fitted with a built-in bottle opener on the back.

What We Work With
Black Walnut
Rich, dark, and deeply grained. The crown jewel of American hardwoods.
Cherry
Warm reddish tones that deepen beautifully with age and light exposure.
Hard Maple
Pale, tight-grained, and incredibly hard. Perfect for cutting boards.
White Oak
Dramatic ray flecks and golden warmth. Stunning for serving pieces.
